About Our Luxury Lodges

Laxfield Lodges is a an exclusive holiday development on our 14 acre site in the beautiful open countryside of mid-Suffolk.

Laxfield Lodges are traditional round-log lodges constructed from solid 200mm round logs from slow grown Northern European pine.  Using the traditional Swedish Cope method of construction with interlocking corners.  A layer of insulating material is inserted between each layer of log to ensure the lodges are energy efficient.  The lodges have fully double glazed windows and gas central heating.

The Lodges are of bespoke design, fitted to the highest standard.  With full central heating and private south-facing decking areas overlooking the open countryside, they provide all year round luxury accommodation.  Fitted kitchens include granite worktops, range cooker, integrated fridge and dishwasher and also a butler sink.  A separate utility room provides a washer/dryer, freezer and microwave.  

The lounge and dining areas are furnished with the latest contemporary designs including flat screen LCD HD TVs with Freeview, Netflix and digital radio.  The double and twin bedrooms are stylish and comfortable with integrated wardrobes.  The main bedroom boasts a wall mounted LCD HD TV with Freeview and its own en-suite with walk-in shower.  The main bathroom completes the attractive accommodation.  Each lodge has its own parking area and outdoor furniture for their decking. We also provide free WiFi to both Lodges.

As well as enjoying the luxury of their lodge, guests may ramble and play on the large grassed communal areas. .  We also have undercover storage for bicycles.
